ADOPTION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

New adoption fees applies to any application received after February 1, 2016.

Purebred puppies = $600
Mixed puppies = $400
1-4 years = $375
5-8 years = $325
9 years and older = $250
Turkey Dogs = $600
Golden doodles = $700 (no age stipulation)

All dogs 10 years of age or older will be adopted to senior citizens (people 65 years +) at no charge. However a donation would be greatly appreciated.

All applications require a $25 nonrefundable application fee. (After submission of the below form, you will be provided a link to PayPal to submit your fee.) You must be 21 years of age to complete an application. Once your application and fee have been received, an adoption volunteer will contact you to discuss your application. In most cases, any applicant not meeting fencing and child age restrictions will be unable to adopt a Golden from Adopt A Golden Knoxville, Inc. However, we realize that occasionally there are exceptional circumstances. For those cases, experienced dog owners are invited to request an exemption by submitting a detailed letter describing their circumstances. In order to be considered for exemption, a letter of recommendation from a veterinarian detailing the care of any current or previous pets must also be submitted.
